PLA Lithophane Filament 1.75 mm 1 kg – special PLA filament for lithophanes

The PLA Lithophane filament is formulated specifically for printing high-quality lithophanes — photo reliefs that come to life when illuminated from behind. Thanks to its increased light transmission, balanced translucency and uniform pigment dispersion, it produces excellent tonal contrast and fine detail visibility, even at very thin wall thicknesses.

Made with a precise 1.75 mm diameter and ±0.05 mm tolerance, it ensures consistent extrusion and smooth surfaces. It prints easily on any standard FDM 3D printer and provides stable results even at very small layer heights.

Recommended printing parameters:

• Nozzle: 195–215 °C

• Bed: 50–60 °C

• Cooling: 80–100 %

• Layer height for lithophanes: 0.08–0.16 mm

• Perimeters: 3–5

• Infill: 0–10 %

This material is ideal for backlit lamps, illuminated decorations, personalized gifts, photo panels, custom light boxes and artistic projects. The 1 kg spool is perfect for larger lithophane runs or printing multiple illuminated panels.
